Stacey Solomon is no stranger to showing off her interior design skills and on occasions turns her hand to creating lavish and stunning table displays.
The mum of four, 32, showed off her decorating skills at Easter with a stunning table display following a rustic theme.
To celebrate Christmas 2021 and the family’s first in their new home, Stacey dressed her family’s dinner table with plenty of festive cheer including candles and crackers.
As Stacey gears up to marry beau Joe Swash , the experts at Wholesale Sweets share their top tips on how to create a wedding table that the Loose Women panellist would be proud of.
Kathryn Hague from Wholesale Sweets said: “We understand that catering to your guests is an important part of your wedding day so we wanted to give couples some tips on how to create a gorgeous sweets table that guests will keep coming back to.”
She suggests that couples first ensure that the location of tables is well thought of and that colour palettes have been agreed on. For weddings, the team suggests sticking to a pink and white theme.
Although Stacey’s tables don’t have tablecloths on them and follow a more rustic look that compliments her home, the experts recommend using a tablecloth that sticks to the colour theme.
If placing a display on the tables, then Kathryn recommends following Stacey and bff Mrs Hinch ’s organisational hacks.
“When it comes to organisation, channel the likes of Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon. Think of tables filled with colour coordinated displays in large glass jars, cones and bags for guests to marvel over.
“This can create not only a super tasty display but also a great photo moment!”
When Stacey celebrated Christmas with her family at Pickle Cottage, she used a candle holder as the centrepiece to mark the occasion as well as personalised crackers which could double up as labels.
“Adding signs is completely optional but is also a fun way to add another element to your table,” says Kathryn.
“You could print these off or buy small chalkboard pieces and write the name on there. Alternatively why not have one at the end of the table with a list of all of the goodies available to your guests.”
She adds: “If you want to jazz up the table even more, some other accessories you could add include flowers and backdrops. But of course this is completely optional.”
Stacey has been kept busy recently with renovations for Pickle Farm and shared images of the home’s pool that is finally finished. Her list for next week includes continuing to work on her fireplace, with the presenter relieved to finally be able to crack out her jet wash!
Fans have been following Stacey’s updates in recent weeks as she works to upgrade and improve the family home she shares with Joe and their four children.
